Romain Decker

Romain Decker is VP of Product at Spectro Cloud, where he leads Product Management, UX, and Documentation across the full product portfolio. His career has followed the stack upward: hardware, virtualization, cloud, containers, and now AI infrastructure. Along the way he has worked for hosting providers, enterprises, EU institutions, and system integrators, including nearly a decade at VMware as a Solutions Architect and later product manager for the VMware Cloud Provider Program. He holds VCDX #120 and the Kubestronaut certifications, and still runs a full rack at home. What keeps him interested is whether, when something breaks at 3am, the engineer can actually trust the platform.
