Our mission and background
Mission
Spectro Cloud's mission is to help organizations simplify their IT infrastructure in order to unlock innovation at scale. We believe that the critical enabler is Kubernetes and we are committed to helping businesses realize its true potential.
With Palette we enable enterprise platform engineers to turn the chaos and complexity of Kubernetes into effortless control, whatever the shape of their business.
Vision
Spectro Cloud's vision is to be the universal platform orchestrator for modern enterprise IT infrastructure: for every application, in every environment, from far edge to hyperscale cloud.
Origin story
We started in Tenry's garage (literally): three founders, coming from a successful exit at Cliqr, seeing an opportunity in the growing cloud-native space around Kubernetes.
For the founders, Kubernetes was a promising technology that presented a means to a visionary end: creating a truly distributed ubiquitous computing platform. But in the meantime, we saw an immediate market opportunity around managing multiple Kubernetes clusters, across multiple environments, at scale — a challenge that legacy distro-centric Kubernetes management tools were poorly equipped to solve.
We launched in 2019, and in the years that followed, expanded into bare metal and edge, through various funding rounds culminating in our Series C in late 2024.
