Spectro Cloud Achieves New Kubernetes Milestones with AWS

SAN JOSE, Calif.—April 22, 2024—Spectro Cloud, a leader in Kubernetes management, has announced the achievement of a new Amazon Web Services (AWS) Competency designation, making it one of the most accredited vendors in the containers space and demonstrating its strong relationship with AWS.

Spectro Cloud is now:

  • A member of the AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program, a co-sell program for AWS Partners that provides software solutions that run on or integrate with AWS. This means if customers have an Enterprise Discount Promotion (EDP) contract with AWS, Spectro Cloud can help them meet their overall AWS consumption commitment.
  • A member of the AWS Well-Architected Partner Program, which helps organizations establish good architectural habits, reduce risks, and respond faster to changes that affect designs, applications, and workloads. Spectro Cloud’s experts are validated to offer AWS Well-Architected Reviews, helping customers optimize their Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Services (Amazon EKS) and Kubernetes environments.
  • A holder of the AWS Container Competency, which recognizes Spectro Cloud as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialized expertise and proven success in delivering solutions for customers looking to build, run, and manage their applications on AWS container technologies. Additionally, Spectro Cloud’s Palette integrates with AWS services in ways designed to improve customers' ability to run container workloads on AWS.

By achieving the AWS Container Competency and joining these AWS programs, Spectro Cloud is now in the “differentiated” stage of its AWS Partner Paths journey. AWS Partner Paths are purpose-built to support and strengthen a range of customer offerings across software, hardware, services, training, or distribution.

‘Differentiated’ is the highest stage in AWS Partner Paths and is awarded for adherence to AWS technical specifications and best practices in practical use cases.

We are an AWS Kubernetes partner

Companies of all sizes and industries are already choosing Spectro Cloud to deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Amazon EKS, getting full advantage of Palette’s full-stack declarative management, rich day 2 operations capabilities, and multi-environment orchestration.

These capabilities are backed by award-winning 24x7 technical support from Spectro Cloud experts and a strong portfolio of specialized partners in cloud native transformation.

With these new AWS accreditations, enterprises and public sector organizations can rely on Spectro Cloud not only to provide high technical standards on AWS, but also to integrate fully with existing commercial relationships.

Snackpass, a software platform for quick-service restaurants (QSRs), chose Spectro Cloud to migrate its applications into Amazon EKS.

The Palette platform enables Snackpass’s platform engineers to set up and manage their Amazon EKS clusters with minimal effort and optimize their cloud costs — backed by a support team they could trust.

“All of the interactions with Spectro Cloud’s team just continued to build comfort and confidence. It was a night and day difference to experience this depth of technical expertise compared to where we were coming from,” said Nathan Probst, Principal Engineer at Snackpass. “Spectro Cloud gave us that sweet spot between our previous environment and AWS. We have the power of Kubernetes without all of the headaches.”

Real estate platform Remine worked with Spectro Cloud to migrate from Kubernetes on Amazon EC2 to Amazon EKS.

“We were looking for a solution to help us take advantage of all the different tooling that comes with Amazon EKS and help optimize our AWS investment,” said Rodney Cobb, Remine’s Director of Platform Engineering. “Spectro Cloud puts us in a position where we can now build our product quicker than ever, and with the ability to make everything repeatable, testable and scalable from the beginning”.

Jared Cheney, Vice President of Services, North America at systems integrator SoftwareOne, welcomes Spectro Cloud’s new AWS accreditations. “When we introduce our AWS customers to what Spectro Cloud’s Palette can do, they immediately see the value in speed, consistency and efficiency of cluster fleet management. It’s testament to the quality of Spectro Cloud’s product and its team of experts that they’ve earned this unique combination of accreditations from AWS.”

“From the very start of Spectro Cloud five years ago we built our Palette SaaS platform on AWS, and many of our customers are also choosing AWS for their Kubernetes clusters,” said Tenry Fu, CEO and co-founder of Spectro Cloud. “So it’s a very natural choice for us to continually invest in our relationship with AWS. These validations are proof of our ability to deliver excellence in AWS for all our customers.”

Organizations are invited to see Spectro Cloud Palette and demo it live at a forthcoming AWS Summit. Spectro Cloud will be present at:

  • AWS Summit London, April 24th
  • AWS Summit LA, May 22nd
  • AWS Summit Washington DC, June 26th
  • AWS Summit New York, July 7th
  • AWS Summit Toronto, September 9th.

Alternatively, organizations are invited to learn more about Palette on AWS and set up a 1:1 demo at spectrocloud.com.
