Behind the scenes
A Wave report doesn’t just land on your desk out of nowhere.
Vendors like us spend a lot of time and effort briefing analysts on our ‘state of the art’, trends we’re seeing, and what’s going on in our business. And all that activity goes up a notch when a big piece of research like a Wave enters production.
Through live briefings, demos, and lots and lots of questionnaires, we gave the analysts from Forrester in-depth information about all aspects of our technology and business. We also put them in touch with real customers to vet our claims for themselves.
The result? No matter the evaluation criteria:

Here at Spectro we’ve stopped calling ourselves a startup, but when a 250-person company like ours is in the same evaluation as larger and more established vendors in the market, I guess we don’t mind too much how we get listed.
What’s more important is the impact we’re recognized as having, and that came through loud and clear to us:
“Spectro Cloud’s innovation focus has paid off, with major customer account wins over incumbents like Red Hat and SUSE.”
What the Forrester evaluation said about us
And why are these organizations choosing us? From our perspective, it’s because we offer a complete package. Edge or AI, multicloud or VM modernization, all from the same platform, all with freedom of choice and none of that big vendor lock-in (or big vendor price tag).
We can only believe that Forrester agreed, because they called us:

What next
This is our first appearance in the Forrester Wave, but we believe it’s not our last. We’re continuing to expand our platform, deepen our AI and edge capabilities, and work hand-in-hand with customers and partners who share our vision for what multicloud container platforms can do.
